Job Overview:
The Group Desk Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue by preparing accurate quotations, pricing proposals, and contracts while supporting travel agencies and corporate clients. The role manages end‑to‑end group reservations, including rate negotiations, booking confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and schedule changes. It also involves proactive sales activities such as sales calls, participation in travel fairs, and prompt professional handling of email inquiries. Additionally, the executive ensures complete and accurate traveler information, oversees payments and billing, prepares travel documents, and meets both service and revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
The Employee will:
- Request/negotiate group rates and terms/Monitoring of group blockings and their deadlines for ticketing
- Manage and confirm all group travel bookings
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, contract preparation
- Ensure accuracy of traveler information
- Manage amendments, cancellations, and schedule change
- Manage deposits, payments, and billing
- Prepare complete itineraries and travel documents
- Handle changes, cancellations, and emergencies
- Meet service standards and client satisfaction targets
- Achieve revenue or booking targets
- Do sales call to the travel agencies, corporate accounts and participate in travel fairs that can generate revenue to the airline industry
- Respond promptly and professionally to email inquiries from travel agencies
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- A degree in business, tourism, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the airline or travel industry
- Strong knowledge of group booking processes and travel management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and building long-term relationships.
- Experience in GDS system, Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook Mail.
